Mino ware accounts for more than half of all tableware made in Japan, and the region’s best potteries still finish each piece by hand. These bowls have the slightly flared shape traditional for rice, with a foot ring that stays cool enough to hold while the bowl is full.
The glaze pools a little darker at the rim and lighter on the belly, so no two bowls are exactly alike. Sold as a pair in a kraft gift box.
