Noren hang in the entrances of shops and homes across Japan, marking a threshold without quite blocking it. This one is a two-panel curtain in mid-weight indigo cotton with a faint seigaiha wave print, made in a small workshop in Kyoto.
It measures 85 cm wide and 150 cm long with a rod pocket at the top. A tension rod or a length of bamboo is all it needs.
